Week 8 - february 28 to march 6

Already 8 weeks ! Time goes by so fast ....
This week, we had Human Factor on the academic side, plus a new bunch of FTT (aero-modeling, or how to find the lift and drag curves, low L/D, or how to make a space shuttle or lifting body approach, cockpit evaluation). On the flying side, we finished the tower fly-by so that we know have until thursday to complete our first report, we began turn performances, level-acceleration, and sawtooth climbs FTT (three different ways of finding the specific excess power of the aircraft). Pilots fly them either in the F16 or T38 and engineers in the C12.
Saturday was the 100 day party for the 10B. Meaning that they "only" have about 3 months before graduation ! 10B came up with a very good Hawaiin theme, and we did a "frozen roman toga" theme (the combination is unusual, but so is having the first day of class delayed because of the snow...).
Next week, we will have more of the previous flights, and a longer than usual course on propulsion.
Engineers will also go back to south base to try and finish their "airmanship" flights in the Cessnas.
