Week 27 - July 11 to 17

Last week, we had less classes than usual since one of the TMP groups went TDY (temporary deployment) to test the G-suits in the centrifuge at Randolph AFB, San Antonio, TX.
Otherwise, we had the usual turf : F-16 demo departures, T-38 lat-dir flights, T-38 HQ demo, T-38 stqll demo, F-16 HQ demo, and more of the FCS project.
But we also had our first qual eval, in the Fouga Magister CM170. This great french made fighter trainer from the 50s was ours for one hour each. Nine of us already flew it, the rest of the class will follow soon !
Next week, we begin the system phase with communication : datalink academics followed by the begining of radar academics. And we will have ground school for the second qual eval : the MiG-15 !The rest will be pretty much the same.
